So, Asyraf and I had an awesome conversation in which I was supposed to be all emo about but in fact, by replying, I’m actually understanding it more.. He was telling me how he prefers to choose a girl that has a great personality and someone he’d fall in love with. Then he said “Then again, I don’t believe in love”. So I said “Well, I do.” He said:

“Love is a myth created by fools. if marriage is love,then why are there divorces?what IS love?love is bullshit.a fantasy.an escape.a lie.”

So, I suppose I’m quite satisfied with what I said to him. It goes something like this:

  Marriage is not love. Marriage is something people THINK that they can live with.. Happily ever after. And happily ever afters are never true. So, “if love is happiness,then why are there breakups and shit?why does love make people depressed?get it?and yea,it only exists in fairytales.”?

  Love exists because without love, there isn't hate... it's like saying that trees don't exists because if they do, why do they die? Well, love is a feeling.. not a subject... not an object.... it's just feelings. Feelings change and that's how you get depressed people and break ups. Commitments are subjects... not feelings... It's something people THINK they do when they are in love..they THINK they are in love and that means love has to bring them together and they THINK that they can live with each other.. But that’s just commitment and when you realise you can’t commit, you break up.. So, love does exist..

  Moral of conversation is that, you want a guy/girl whom you’ll love AND can commit. Not someone who can do just either one for a short period of time. So, basically, your future husband/wife is THE ONE… ^^ Take your time and not rush.. ^^
